The Color Run is providing two free race entries for a giveaway at no cost to me. Please see my Disclosure Policy for more information.
The Happiest 5K on the Planet? Yes, please.
What exactly is The Color Run? It is a five-kilometer, un-timed race in which the participants, or “Color Runners,” are doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer mark.
What are the rules? Easy peasy. 1) Wear white at the starting line, and 2) Cross the finish line plastered in color!
What is the Kaleidoscope Tour? It’s the brand new 2014 tour, with fabulous swag and fun Kaleidoscope-themed attractions throughout the course. After the 5K, the Color Runners celebrate with an unforgettable Finish Festival, complete with music, dancing, and massive color throws!
Did you say swag? Yep! Every registered Color Runner in 2014 gets an official The Color Run Race Kit including a custom t-shirt, tricolor headband, amazing shoulder sling bag, wristband, and more!
Who is The Color Run for? Well, since it has no winners or official times, The Color Run is really for everyone – from new runners to seasoned athletes. In fact, more than half of the participants are first-time 5K runners.
Where and when can I enter The Color Run? Visit the official website for tour dates and locations.
Where can I register? You can register at http://thecolorrun.com/events. And a special treat for my readers – save $5 on your entry fee when you register for The Color Run in ANY city by using the promo code COLOR5OFF. (*Please note – the promo code must be entered at the time of registration and cannot be retro-applied. Also, please make sure to type the code in manually – it won’t work properly if you copy/paste it.)
What about the giveaway? Do you live in or near Jacksonville, Florida? Or do you need a vacation from sub-zero temperatures? I’m giving away two entries to The Color Run in Jacksonville, Florida on 2/15/14. The amazing folks from The Color Run have given me two free race entries – one for one of my readers, and one for myself. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to participate in The Color Run this year. So one lucky reader will win both free entries. Keep one for yourself and give mine to a friend. It’s always more fun to race with a friend anyway, right? Just enter on the Rafflecopter below – and don’t forget to share your race photos with us!
{giveaway is now closed}
*Mommy Runs It and/or The Color Run will contact the winner with the free entry promo code. Children 5 and under can participate in The Color Run free of charge. Children ages 6 and up must register for the 5K. Mommy Runs It and the sponsor are not responsible for travel, parking, or any other expenses associated with the race. The giveaway is for two (2) free entry fees only.*
