Flex It Pink gave me a free entry to their 2015 Summer SoleMate Virtual Fun Run.
I’ve had a tough time staying on track with running this summer. Between the heat, having the kids at home, traveling, and a general lack of motivation, it’s just not happening for me right now. I’ve stayed very active with the kids and have walked a ton, but I just haven’t been running.
I’m participating in a virtual run this week, and I’m hoping it can help me get my groove back. It’s being hosted by a company called Flex It Pink, which was created by two moms with a passion for health and fitness. Their mission is to create a community that supports, encourages, educates, and empowers women in their healthy lifestyle and fitness journey. And one of the ways that they do this is by hosting five virtual 5K runs each year.
I’m participating in the 2015 Summer SoleMate Virtual Fun Run, which benefits Wounded Warrior Project. I received my race packet in the mail, and it included this t-shirt:
and this excellent piece of bling:
plus a race bib and some other fun swag.
