My husband and I come from two completely different backgrounds. When we spent our first holiday season together 15 years ago, I’d never had a Christmas tree, and he’d never lit a menorah. Over the years, we blended our holiday customs and traditions to create something unique for our own family. We both believe that our children’s most cherished holiday memories will be those that focus on the traditions and values that belong to our little family.
In many homes, families get together on Christmas Eve or at some other time during the holiday season to share holiday tales. Author Leann Smith has written a collection of three beautifully illustrated holiday-themed book and gift sets: The Magic Christmas Key, My Snowman and Me, and The Hope Tree – each would be a wonderful addition to your family’s holiday traditions.
Each book delivers a heartwarming tale of the holiday season, emphasizing the magic and true meaning of Christmas and family values. Children and adults alike are transfixed by the engaging story lines, lesson-learning morals, and award-winning illustrations. Gift sets are packaged in a gift box and include a copy of the book as well as a keepsake relevant to the story.
The Magic Christmas Key
The Magic Christmas Key is the story of Andy, a boy who has a marvelous adventure that starts with the gift of Santa’s Magic Key. On his fun-filled journey, the Andy learns the importance of being honest and brave. And when he meets Santa Claus, he learns the most important lesson of all – that All Things Are Possible When You Believe.
This 1st edition 10″ x 10″ hardcover book and pewter key are showcased in a lovely keepsake box. You can purchase this gift set online for $35.00.
My Snowman and Me
My Snowman and Me is a delightful story that introduces young children to the magic and wonder of building a snowman. It’s written in simple words and is perfect for a beginning reader. Its sweet message is that even although the snowman melts when it turns warm, he will always come back whenever it snows.
The My Snowman and Me gift set comes with an adorable snowman that your child can build anytime and anywhere. My kids love their little snowman! At the end of the book, you can even record the snowman’s name and the day he came to life. You can purchase this gift set online for $35.00
The Hope Tree
The Hope Tree is a special story about a little boy who helps his entire village remember the true meaning of Christmas. While reading Jacob’s story, we are reminded of the difference that just one boy with a hopeful heart can make. This book is perfect for children of all ages…and for adults too. You can purchase it online for $20.00.
All 3 books are beautifully illustrated with heartwarming, engaging tales of the holiday season. The stories emphasize the magic and true meaning of Christmas and family values, which makes them perfect for creating new family traditions and lifelong memories.

I love giving books as gifts because you are giving more than a story – you are giving them an adventure and a portal into another universe. Reading books allows you the chance to experience things you can’t in real time/life.

How cute! All of those books look like something my boys would love! We love reading the story of Jesus being born with our children. One of our holiday traditions is to let our boys open one gift on Christmas Eve—It’s always a new pair of pjs to wear to bed that night so they can wake up on Christmas morning in their fun new Christmas pjs. Our boys love it even though they always know what’s in the gift.

I love these! Thank you for sharing!
Christmas is a great time of year around here. We read Polar Express and How The Grinch Stole Christmas and Olive the Other Reindeer. We watch all the movies and tv specials. If allowed, I would watch all 24 hours of A Christmas Story on TNT or TBS or whatever channel is airing it this year. We make cookies, decorate the tree and drink egg nog. It’s so awesome.
