Hey guys! If you haven’t tuned into my YouTube channel yet, you missed some good stuff last week. I’m still working on getting the hang of filming & editing videos, but I like the direction we’re going in so far.
My goal with the channel is to share a glimpse of life after a spinal fusion. I know firsthand how easy it is to stumble across horror stories while researching this procedure. And while I by no means intend to sugarcoat things (some parts of this experience just plain suck), I’d like to make it easier for people to stumble across a success story too. I know I do that here on the blog to some extent, but my hope is that the vlog will help me (eventually) be accessible to an even larger audience.
I also want to provide some basic info about spondylolisthesis and other spinal conditions that are commonly linked with spinal fusion. There’s so much that I didn’t know before my surgery, and I want to help people avoid making some of the mistakes I did.
If you’d like to follow along directly from YouTube, you can click HERE to subscribe to my channel. And if YouTube isn’t your thing, I’ll be sharing my vlog posts here as well.
So here’s what you missed last week:
Episode 3 – quick catch up from me & the girls on our spring break fun
“Back Pain Didn’t Stop Our Spring Break Fun + New Blog Post”
Episode 4 – Sophia helps me give a quick lesson about the (very) basic anatomy of the spine
“Dem Bones (Spinal Anatomy 101)”
Episode 5 – an update on my physical therapy, plus my experience with a common post-op symptom
“Recovering From a Spinal Fusion Is Exhausting”
If there are any questions or topics that you’d like me to address on video, let me know! I’m always happy to share my personal experience on this subject.
Hope to see you on YouTube!
I'd love to hear your thoughts...
